The Smart K9 Tag is the secure choice for your dogs and cats.
The Smart K9 Tag Set uses RFID technology to communicate between your pet's K9 tags and the RFID transmitter to activate your Autoslide enabled door. It offers the highest security in preventing the chance of wild animals such as possums, raccoons, or your neighbors’ pets from activating your Autoslide sliding door system. However, just like any automatic swipe card security entrances, it does not take into consideration that unwanted animals could be stalking closely behind your pet as they enter.
The Smart K9 Tag Set is an add-on accessory to your existing Autoslide unit. This pack includes two (2) Smart Pet Tags and one (1) RFID transmitter, which connects back to the AutoSlide, AutoSwing, or MultiDrive. Simply synchronize the pet collar key sensor to your automatic door unit, program the Pet Mode opening and viola! You now have an automatic pet door!
The Smart K9 Tag sensor only needs to be mounted on one side of the door, which is the side of the active moving panel.
Clip the Smart K9 Tag to your pet’s existing collar. When the connected automatic door system is set on Pet Mode, the sensor will activate your sliding door to the pet open width when a Smart Pet Tag is within the area of detection. The area of detection has a distance setting that can be customized to trigger between 1 foot to 10 feet away. These can be changed using the button on the Smart K9 Tag.
Only pets wearing the Smart K9 Tag will be able to activate the sensor. For those with more than two pets, additional Smart K9 Tags can be purchased separately.

"It’s a good system and dog learn quick. The only downside is the outdoor short range. When my gps want to get in, it needs to be very close to the door and when she wants to go out the range is almost 5 feet away from the door."

"I have had the Autoslide smart K9 tag set for years now and it has been amazing in so many ways. We have 2 dogs and an indoor cat. We used to have the typical dog door with the flap, but the cat figured out the flap. So the Autoslide was the best solution for letting the dogs out but not the cat. We had the original set up (version 1) which was great, but one of our dogs would notoriously just stand or lay down by the door, causing the door to open and close continuously or just stay open. Also, our original tags hung as a pendent and over the years, the battery would slip out of its position and then the tag wouldn’t work. So there were some times when the dogs couldn’t go out or come back in. They were becoming unreliable. So I was looking to buy new tags and Autoslide has upgraded their version (version 2), but still offer the version 1. So I inquired about the difference and there are a variety of differences, but the key ones for me was that if you have a dog that likes to linger by the door or sleep by the door, the door will not continuously open and close or just stay open. It will open and then close. Then it will sense the tag again if it moves. Also, you can program the distance of of sensing the tag to more specific distances. Our back door is near a common pathway and our dogs would set off the old sensor if they were within 3 ft. Now I have programmed them with in a foot. And the best thing is now they have a neoprene pocket that Velcros to their collar so the device doesn’t dangle and slowly move the battery out of position. It still comes with the key ring if you want it to be a pendant, but I’m excited about the pocket! We still have to watch out that the dogs don’t chew on them when playing. But at least it’s not a dangling item for them to grab and crunch down on. Thank you, Autoslide!!"

"This set came without instructions and instructions were difficult to find online. We are on hour 10 of trying to get 2 tabs hooked up at the same time with no luck. One of the tags isn’t working properly."
