Worked

"Needed to replace parts and they arrived quickly and correct"

Carol T. (5/5)

Good unit, but with problems.

"The Autoslide unit is a good unit. However, I have had a problem with the track bowing. I am going to have to replace the track, because part of it does not contact the gear due to the plastic being warped. This track should have been made from aluminum or brass. A really poor choice of material was made to manufacture the track. Why does it have to come in two sections? This should be just one section. Now the track sags at the joint. Very frustrating."

Don't think we needed it & track seems a bit flimsy

"Was guided based on width of door to buy an extra length of track. When all was said & done we instructed to cut all but 3 inches off. I would have just made the door open not all the way. We were also suggested to put a wood shim under track so it would line up with gear. But we only needed 1/4" & track seemed to wave. We now have aluminum shim on order in hopes that it will be better stabilized."

Great product, but needs to be made sturdier.

"Does what it is supposed to do for a bit. I have been through a couple of tracks as they seem to wear down at the point where the door has to put its initial torque into the track to get it moving. Not a heavy door either (less than 10lbs of pressure to get it moving). I would pay extra for an upgraded track made of aluminum or other material that can take more wear and tear. Overall still a very good product, and more importantly is that my dogs love it!! Just the track itself could use some reinforcing."

Awesome product, Ilock model worked

"Awesome product, Ilock model worked great. Brad help me get it dialed in for my unconventional application on a sport fishing yacht. Very happy after getting it installed correctly !"

Chris G. (5/5)

Received incompatible item

"Does NOT match existing track. So needlessly frustrating."

Jay L. (1/5)

Got a spare rail

"The existing system keeps slipping, and seemed to be wearing down the teeth. So I added several extra screws to it to stiffen the thing. Before making it into swiss cheese, I wanted a spare rail in case I broke the original rail. The extra screws seem to have done the job."

Overpriced Piece of Plastic

"But can't buy from anyone else!"

Replacement

"Just what I needed"

Absolutely love it!

"I needed the AutoSlide to complete my project. Not really what it was designed for, but it worked out! https://www.gfxrtist.com/post/extended-walkthrough (I needed to replace one track due to the fact that I cut the original when first installing the system. It turned out that I needed to use both of the tracks as they are without modification."
