"Total waste of money. Opener works but motion sensors are useless. Documentation is out of date and not for items supplied. Tech support does not reply. My dogs are 150/160 pounds and the sensors don’t activate. Spent three days wasting time constantly repositioning them trying to get them to work. Don’t wast your money!"

"I have had 2 different handy come out to try to help install this unit after spending 3 hours on my own trying to figure it out, and both told me that its not possible to mount on my door. DO NOT BUY this unless you have a large metal sliding door or one that goes to your ceiling otherwise you will not be able to install. I have tried calling Autoslide multiple times to get assistance and now return the unit and no response."

"I like this device. It does everything they advertised it would do and had everything I wanted it to do. In my particular situation, I had a very difficult installation, Autoslide had an answer for everything online. When I had a very minor problem, I contacted Autoslide online and they provided the answer in a couple of minutes. Great product with the expected safety procedures built in. Would buy again."

- Can this unit be hardwired?
- Are you asking about the Autoslide drive system or the IR sensors? There is a version of the IR sensors that comes wired: https://shop.autoslide.com/collections/accessories/products/autoslide-hardwired-infrared-motion-sensors. If you are speaking to the unit, it is possible to hardwire it, which we suggest is left to a qualified electrician. Otherwise, it can be plugged into a standard 110 outlet.
