Product Description

The AutoSlide Elite iLock Smart Tag Pet Door comes with all the components needed to turn a manual patio door into a secure, automatic pet door. With the combination of the iLock feature, the power of the Elite Motor, and the security of the RFID pet tag technology, this pet door will make any furbaby parent happy. The AutoSlide Elite also includes an internal Bluetooth module for app control within up to 100' of the door.

To allow pets to use the AutoSlide automatic door, program the Pet Door Width. This will allow the door to open just wide enough for your pets when they use their pet tags to activate the system. Don't worry...people can still open the door to a full opening using the convenient wall buttons.

Only one Smart Tag receiver is required per pet door and plugs into the back of the AutoSlide System using the included cable. Each tag can be set to activate anywhere from 1 foot to 10 feet away from the receiver. You will want to mount the receiver in the most optimal place. If you are using this for pets, be sure to take into account how your pets behave. With the K9 Tag's RFID technology, you won't have trouble detecting the tags inside or outside of the home.

The Ring Pet Tag is a smart accessory that pairs with the Ring app, allowing pet owners to easily locate or identify their pets through scannable QR technology. These innovative tags are now included with the Autoslide Pet Door, providing a seamless solution for managing your pet’s access while keeping them safe. Together, the Ring Pet Tag and Autoslide Pet Door offer convenience, peace of mind, and enhanced control for pet-friendly homes.

It's okay but. . .

"Once installed, the AutoSlide works fine. Installation of the device itself was not hard and the instructions were adequate. Setting up the RFID pet tags wasn't as easy as it could have been - not because it's inherently hard but because the instructions are terrible. The software is so-so. Bottom line is that I like the AutoSlide Elite iLock Smart Tag Pet Door opener, but the instructions are pitiful at best, and if you have expectations set by Alexa, Google, Siri smart home tech, don't count on this being the same user experience."

Great dog door solution for my Great Danes

"We ordered this to create a secure pet door option for our two Great Danes. We needed a dog door solution that would be secure and after much research we determined that the auto slide would be our best option. Pro's: Good customer service, Great concept, You can take it with you if you move to a new home Con's: Difficult to install, overall financial investment is significant, you need alot of "extras" in order to make it work properly (Not only did we buy the auto slide mechanism, we also had to buy the outdoor keypad and the wireless router)"

Would not recommend

"Setting up the autoslide settings is the most user unfriendly item I've ever dealt with. When our dogs use the door and bump the door when trying to go through it before it's open all the way, the door just stays open letting the cold winter weather in. I contacted autoslide via email trying to resolve a couple of problems with zero response. We set up an account through the autoslide app and had to change the account information. After getting several confirmations that the account was deleted and then tried several times to connect to the autoslide app with new account information, it won't let us and just keeps telling us our autoslide is already enrolled to another account."

Product is great Instructions are sh!t

"The product itself once installed is GREAT! All four dogs including our blind special needs dog figured this out immediately, no training necessary. However, their website is inaccurate. No manual or dvd instructions were sent. Instead we received a QR to an outdated installation video from several iterations ago so very little matched the latest model we had ordered. The manual online stated install will take 90 min but since all the data in missing or inaccurate plan on 5-6 hours instead. Again once installed it’s great! Oh and good luck getting their app to function because of course that doesn’t match any of their documentation or the in app instructions. After losing most of the day we’ll save that for another day to figure out."

Autoslide is great!

"We have had our elite auto slide for a year now. I was concerned because our sliding doors are very heavy impact doors so I bought the elite system. It works great. We had a little trouble with one of the responders that the dog wears. the owner, immediately fixed the problem for us and sent us another one. very responsive. have not had trouble now in almost a year with anything. And it’s nice when I go out to the pool, I just hit the switch on the wall and the door opens wide enough for a person when using wall switch. When the dog goes up to it, it only opens wide enough for the dog to go through. I take my drinks and food out there, by just hitting the elbow on the switch. My dogs love the freedom of being able to go in and out as they want and I highly recommend this company and this product."

Sent the wrong, cheaper item

"I cannot review it if they sent me the wrong item. I ordered this Elite iLock pet tag package, but I received a starter kit with the basic motor. I have contacted customer service 3 times and only gotten one response, and I never heard back after my other 2 messages. I’d love to be able to use this pet package if it was sent to me correctly. As of right now they owe me either $900 or the correct item."
