El sensor de movimiento infrarrojo inalámbrico Autoslide utiliza una conexión inalámbrica para comunicarse con los sistemas Autoslide y MultiDrive. Se puede instalar encima de la puerta para que lo utilicen personas o en el lateral del marco de la puerta para que lo utilicen mascotas. Cuando una persona o mascota que se aproxima interrumpe el haz de infrarrojos del sensor, el sistema Autoslide se activará inmediatamente para abrir la puerta corrediza y brindar comodidad de manos libres. La puerta permanecerá en posición abierta mientras se rompa el rayo. Una vez que el campo se despeje, la puerta comenzará a cerrarse.
La altura del haz de infrarrojos es ajustable, lo que permite configurarlo de manera que un niño pequeño que se acerque no active la puerta y tenga fácil acceso fuera de la casa. Es importante tener en cuenta que la instalación de un solo sensor de movimiento IR solo automatizará la puerta corredera desde un lado. Para proporcionar una solución manos libres completa, será necesario instalar dos sensores de movimiento inalámbricos por infrarrojos Autoslide, uno en el interior y otro en el exterior.
Tenga en cuenta: Los sensores infrarrojos son sensibles a la luz solar directa y a los paquetes de calor intenso. No se recomienda instalar este tipo de sensores en exteriores si el lugar de instalación recibirá luz solar directa. Como alternativa, se podría utilizar un sensor de microondas inalámbrico en el exterior.

"Under normal conditions the sensor works fine. However, during periods of heavy rain and wind, and heavy snow, the sensor is erratic. I have tried everthing and nothing has solved the problem. This is troublesome if you are away or even when sleeping. We have found snow and rain inside when getting up or getting home."
