Der drahtlose Infrarot-Bewegungssensor von Autoslide nutzt eine drahtlose Verbindung zur Kommunikation mit den Autoslide- und MultiDrive-Systemen. Es kann über der Tür für die Nutzung durch Menschen oder an der Seite des Türpfostens für die Nutzung durch Haustiere installiert werden. Wenn der Infrarotstrahl des Sensors von einer sich nähernden Person oder einem Haustier unterbrochen wird, wird das Autoslide-System sofort aktiviert, um die Schiebetür zu öffnen und den Freisprechkomfort zu ermöglichen. Die Tür bleibt in der geöffneten Position, solange der Balken unterbrochen ist. Sobald das Feld frei ist, beginnt sich die Tür zu schließen.
Die Höhe des Infrarotstrahls ist einstellbar, sodass er so eingestellt werden kann, dass ein herannahendes kleines Kind die Tür nicht aktiviert und einfachen Zugang außerhalb des Hauses erhält. Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass die Installation nur eines IR-Bewegungssensors die Schiebetür nur von einer Seite aus automatisiert. Um eine vollständig freihändige Lösung bereitzustellen, müssen zwei kabellose Infrarot-Bewegungssensoren von Autoslide installiert werden, einer innen und einer außen.
Bitte beachten Sie: Infrarotsensoren reagieren empfindlich auf direkte Sonneneinstrahlung und starke Hitzeeinwirkungen. Es wird nicht empfohlen, diese Art von Sensoren im Freien zu installieren, wenn der Installationsort direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist. Alternativ könnte außen ein drahtloser Mikrowellensensor zum Einsatz kommen.

"Under normal conditions the sensor works fine. However, during periods of heavy rain and wind, and heavy snow, the sensor is erratic. I have tried everthing and nothing has solved the problem. This is troublesome if you are away or even when sleeping. We have found snow and rain inside when getting up or getting home."
